The X-Crüciating X-Plöders

The X-Crüciating X-Plöders is an American animated series. It is produced by Jam Filled Entertainment, Fresh TV, Shadow Projects, Sony Pictures Entertainment, FremantleMedia, Renegade Animation (body motions & animation movement), Animation Collective (NYC only) and Paul & Joe Productions. This show is created by Jordan Koch & Michael Rubiner. This show airs on Nickelodeon. It premiered on July 5, 2022.

Sypnosis[]

This show is about an extreme-metal garage band called "The X-Crüciating X-Plöders". Its' members consist of 4 teenagers named Ethan Bryndal, Larissa Hull, Josh Risko and Eric Winans. They always rehearse and perform their songs in Eric Winans' house's garage.

Characters[]

The X-Crüciating X-Plöders[]

Ethan Bryndal (Voiced by Grant Palmer) - An athlete who is the lead vocalist, as well as the lead electric guitar player of the band. His electric guitar is a red Ibanez RG550DX Genesis Collection Electric Guitar. He is famous for his iconic metal scream, and does this in all of their songs. He wears a skull beanie on his head.
Larissa Hull (Voiced by Breanna Yde) - A sweet, brave, cheerful and energetic tomboy who is the bassist of the band, as well as the backing vocalist. She is one of Eric Winans' closest friends. The bass guitar she plays is a blue Kraft Music Ibanez GSR200 4-String Bass Guitar. She is the only female of the band. Although she is a backing vocalist, she will provide secondary vocals or sing lead in some songs. In the Italian dub, Larissa is voiced by Tiziana Martello.
Josh Risko (Voiced by Caleel Harris) - The rhythm guitar player, as well as the backing vocalist. His rhythm guitar is a dark blue Ibanez SR500 BAT 4 String Electric Blue Arctic. He tends to be the most rational member of the band, mainly because he cares about the others.
Eric Winans (Voiced by Wyatt Griswold) - The drummer of the band, as well as the founder and creator of the band. The drum set he plays is a red SPL Unity Birch 5-Piece All-in-One Drum Set. He is famous for his iconic wild blast-beats, and does this in all of their songs. He's a cheerful, energetic and bubbly guy who always serves his friends with a smile.

The Painfullicious Pain-Causers[]

The Painfullicious Pain-Causers are the genderbent rival band to The X-Crüciating X-Plöders.

Edwina Ackerman (Voiced by Anndi McAfee) - The lead vocalist, as well as the lead electric guitar player. Her electric guitar is a red Ibanez RG550DX Genesis Collection Electric Guitar. She's Eric Winans' snooty next-door neighbor: a shallow, stuck-up and self-centered girly girl who believes anything and everything is about her. She is the daughter of the richest woman in the world, Henrietta Ackerman. She constantly calls people she hates "spazzes" and thinks Eric is the worst out of all of The X-Crüciating X-Plöders.
Larson Lluh (Voiced by Collin Dean) - The bassist of the band. He is the only male of the band.
Brianna Palensia (Voiced by Rachel Crane) - The rhythm guitar player. Her rhythm guitar is a blue Schecter Guitar Research Cygnus JLX-1. Like Edwina, she too is shallow, stuck-up and self centered.
Erica Kōunwoinoru (Voiced by Janice Kawaye) - The drummer. She is a cheerful and energetic Japanese-American girl who is just like Eric in every way, only she's extremely hyperactive and extremely annoying. She likes stalking Eric, much to his dismay.

Supporting characters[]

Deora Bachnicki and Hannah Whalen (Voiced by Haley Tju and Jade Pettyjohn) - The X-Crüciating X-Plöders' adorable groupies. They are the band's biggest fans, and will do anything for them. They are helpful, and will often aid the band if necessary.
Gwendolyn Weagraff (Voiced by Jessica DiCicco) - A 16-year old blonde-haired teenage girl who's the lead singer and guitarist of her own extreme-metal garage band, Gwen and the Demon-Slaying Warrior Girls. A tomboyish and determined girl who's the brawn of the group. Her catchphrase is "Oh, it is ON!".
Kassandra Hanslik (Voiced by Mae Whitman) - Another blonde haired teenage girl who's the bassist of Gwen and the Demon-Slaying Warrior Girls. She's the brains of the group, knowing what to do when she and her band get into trouble. She's also the one who calms Gwen down whenever she gets angry. Her catchphrase is "Don't count your chickens before they hatch, Gwen.".
Megan Mastrodonato (Voiced by Olivia Hack) - A redhead teenage girl who's the drummer of Gwen and the Demon-Slaying Warrior Girls, as well as the beauty of the group. She's cheerful, energetic, and sweet, always willing to make friends easily. She has a crush on Eric Winans, who is also her long-time friend. She often doesn't think things through before figuring out what to do. However, her friends help her.
Bethany McVey (Voiced by Cassie Lynn Scerbo) - An 18-year old girl who's Eric's best friend. She's a brunette who loves playing soccer, and is considered one of the best players on the team. She also loves being the best instructor in the entire world. She's a really huge fan of The X-Crüciating X-Plöders.
Tseday Williams (Voiced by Aleisha Allen) - An 18-year old girl who's Eric's other best friend. She's a cheerleader, and she's shown to be extremely flexible. She'll always have fun, and she's proud of it!
Katrina Wagner (Voiced by Liliana Mumy) - A friendly and selfless girl who always serves as the heart of her friends. She's one of Eric's great friends. She is also a fan of The X-Crüciating X-Plöders, and she's willing to help the band out whenever they need it.
Katie Klepcik (Voiced by JoJo Siwa) - A cheerful and excitable girl who is Eric's very close friend. She always wants to become the life of the party, and wants nothing else but to have fun with all her friends.
Haley Howell (Voiced by Kira Kosarin) - A sweet and kind girl who's one of Eric's friends. She's very honest and thoughtful, and wants nothing more than to be nice to everyone around her. She is a huge fan of The X-Crüciating X-Plöders. She's a popular girl, but she isn't mean, and she isn't rude, she's a friendly and considerate teen, and is somewhat calm in any sticky situation. Like Tseday, she's a cheerleader. Haley, CiCi and Brooke are also fans of The X-Crüciating X-Plöders, and are willing to help the band whenever they need it.
CiCi Lanese (Voiced by Jamie Lynn Spears) - A sincere and sweet girl who's Haley's best friend, as well as a fellow popular girl. She's a friendly and caring girl who always serves her friends with a smile. But if there's one thing she really can't stand, it's violence! She avoids any types of violence, and wants nothing more than for everybody to be nice. She, Haley and Brooke are also fans of The X-Crüciating X-Plöders, and are willing to help the band whenever they need it.
Brooke Scafuro (Voiced by JoJo Siwa) - A cheerful and charming girl who's one of Eric's close friends. She's a very nice and talented girl who always does good deeds everywhere she goes. She's a real do-gooder, and her nice and carefree attitude really helps with making the world a better place. Eric always helps her do good deeds around the whole school, and the two always succeed at doing good. Brooke's a kind, caring and considerate girl who's always willing to make her friends happy. Like Tseday and Haley, she too is a cheerleader. She, Haley and CiCi are also fans of The X-Crüciating X-Plöders, and are willing to help the band whenever they need it.
Grace McGowan (Voiced by Haley Tju) - A chipper and flighty girl who's the captain of the 9th grade cheerleading squad. She's one of Eric's friends, and she always helps him out in any grave situation. She's a friendly and loving girl who'll always do everything she can to support her friends. She is also a fan of The X-Crüciating X-Plöders.
Olivia Spieker (Voiced by Catherine Taber) - A girl who is another one of Eric Winans' close friends. She is a fan of The X-Crüciating X-Plöders, and is always willing to help them whenever they need it.

"Guitar Heroes!/Everywhere You Look" - Ethan, Larissa and Josh save Eric from Edwina./The X-Crüciating X-Plöders invite their friends over to watch them perform.

"We're Death-Metal Rockers and We're Destroyerz!/Larissa Sings Lead" - The X-Crüciating X-Plöders perform at Happy Moose Bar & Grill./Larissa Hull, the bassist and backing vocalist of The X-Crüciating X-Plöders, finally gets a chance to sing lead in the band's latest song.
"Pool of Rock!/Rhythm and Blue" - The X-Crüciating X-Plöders perform at a pool party./When Josh's rhythm guitar breaks, Ethan, Larissa and Eric get him a new rhythm guitar.
"Electrical Metal/That's Debatable" - The X-Crüciating X-Plöders perform at an electricity awareness party./The X-Crüciating X-Plöders compete against The Painfullicious Pain-Causers at the mall.
"Tyranny & War/College Block Rock" - The X-Crüciating X-Plöders fight against The Painfullicious Pain-Causers in a wrestling match./Ethan, Josh and Eric have just started college. When they realize the college they're going to is Larissa's college, the boys are excited, and so is Larissa. In fact, they're so excited to meet each other, they decide to make college even more awesome by playing their amazing music.
"Basketball of Duty/Criss-Cross My Heart" - Ethan invites Larissa, Josh and Eric to attend a basketball game. After that, Ethan gets the idea for him and his band to book a gig at the annual basketball championship. There, he, Larissa, Josh and Eric rehearse in the garage and sing about how awesome basketball is. When the band sing the song at the championship, they receive loads of praise./Larissa invites Ethan, Josh and Eric to watch her attend the national motorcross derby. After Larissa's done riding her motorcycle, she, Ethan, Josh and Eric sing about how awesome motorcross is, and receive lots of praise from everybody in the derby.
"The Top of the Charts/In the Middle of Rehearsing" - The X-Crüciating X-Plöders and The Painfullicious Pain-Causers fight each other over which band is gonna be on the top of the charts in a music festival./Something interrupts The X-Crüciating X-Plöders' rehearsal in the garage, so the band is on a mission to find who's interrupting them.
