Differences[]

  • The Sun is female in this episode, just like in the Kevin (United Kingdom) and Duarte (Portugal) versions of the original. However, in the Steve (United States) version of the original, it was male instead.
  • Cinnamon, Ginger and Sage appear in this episode, but they didn't appear in the original as they weren't born yet.
    • Just like Pajama Party with Blue and Two O'Clock with Blue, this doubles the amount of The Spice Family from the original.
    • In the original episode, Paprika was in the water with a green floatie, but in the reboot, Sage and Ginger were in the water with donut floaties.
    • Additionally, the red sailboat with a green sail is replaced by an orange paper boat.
    • Also, the paw print was not revealed in the water until after Josh noticed the twins floating in the sink (just like the apples), when the paw print floated into view from under Ginger.
    • Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper didn't have a whistle.
  • The tape in the original episode was yellow and Steve examines it with a magnifying glass, but in the remake, the tape was red, but Josh does not examine it with a magnifying glass.
  • The Planets Song has the addition of Pluto being a dwarf planet which was a planet at the time of the airing of the original episode, but in 2006, it was reclassified as a dwarf planet. The music is evidenced on a vlog on the Nick Jr. YouTube channel.
    • However, when Josh sang the song with the viewers the second time, parts of the original and new music were used.
    • The solo and duet versions have slightly different music.
    • The planets look more realistic in the remake version and also seem to be sized differently (in the original for example, Jupiter was bigger than Steve; but in the remake, it was smaller than Josh).
  • The scene where Blue and Josh do the cyclone experiment takes place in the kitchen instead of the living room.
    • Mailbox comes out upside-down and then to his normal position in this episode. But in the original, he just remained upside-down.
    • Neptune doesn't join in on this episode.

Trivia[]

  • This episode aired as part of "Tuesday Blue's Day".
  • Josh does impressions of Superman in this episode, just like Steve (US), Kevin (UK), and Duarte (European Portugal) did in the original.
    • Additionally, Josh's cape from the previous episode, "The Thinking Squad," reappears, but potrays himself as Super Josh instead of Song Man.
