The Cranky Day is a book published by Random House in 2000. It features three stories based on episodes from the fifth season. Its cover changed in 2008 and comes with a CD or audio cassette.

  • An audio cassette was also included with narration by Alec Baldwin, the narration was later rereleased on CD.
